Interact Club
 
Interact is Rotary Interantional's service club for young people ages 14-18 year old.
Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance.
 
            Interact is your chance to:
  • Make new friends
  • Imrove your community
  • Develop leadership skills and personal integrity
  • Make a difference in the world
  • Understand the value of individual responsibility and hard work
  • Demonstrate helpfulness and respect for others
Interact clubs are self-governing and financially independent, making
it possible to choose and carry out service that you care about.
 
 
What it means to be an Interact Member at Old Orchard Beach High School
 
    To be considered an Interact member, and earn the community service hours you must:
  • Attend a majority of the meetings. Meetings will be held every Thursday after school in room 207.  "Majority" means attending at leat three meetings a month. If you cannot attend a meeting, please inform Ms. Ruel at least a day ahead.
  • Participate in at leat one event a month. If there is only one event in a month and you cannot attend, that month will be waived.
  • Contribute ideas during meetings/bei an active participant.
  • Talk to community members to find opportunities tht Interact can help with.
