The Saco Bay Rotary Club was honored to have Dr. Nirav Shah as the guest speaker at our weekly meeting. Dr. Shah, an epidemologist and attorney, headed the Maine CDC from 2019-2023 leading our state through the COVID pandemic. He went on to work as the principal Deputy Director of the US CDC in Atlanta/Washington DC until this year. He has moved back to Maine and is currently a visiting professor at Colby College! Dr. Shah provided an insightful view of his experiences leading teams through the Pandemic and working with the next generation Colby grads. The club enjoyed his humor, his connection to Rotary, and his commitment to our great State of Maine. Thanks Dr. Shah.
