July

Fellow Rotarians- Happy July!

And what a happy July it is. We have returned to normal. Of course that would imply that we were normal to begin with (LOL), but I digress!!  Yes- we have found our way back to Duffy’s and it was glorious! If you attended, it was great to see you and I apologize in advance for redundancies. If you did not, we missed you and we hope you find your way back ‘home’ very soon.

We have a lot on the docket in the next 12 months and we hope to have much more.

My presentation is linked here.

If it doesn’t open correctly, send me an email and I’ll forward it direct. It outlines what I/we aim to accomplish this year. In a nutshell:
  • More Fellowship
  • More Community Service
  • A few added members
  • Some Unique and Off premises meetings
  • And our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to have 75% attendance or more at each and every Student of the Month Meeting!
How are we going to do all this? Hmmm, well I’m not quite sure yet, but I know, when a Rotarian gets asked- we get it done!  J  My plan is to have a monthly letter posted to the website to connect us and keep everyone in the know. Below are some happenings between now and the next newsletter and who to connect with if you want more information!
  • Rotary Ukraine Exchange Student Support- Phil Hatch (but hurry,, this ends next week)
  • Sock Collection- Jo Landry
  • Sea Dogs Game (in lieu of the August 4th meeting)- Ticket sales online or contact Jeff Slaton
  • Biddeford/Saco ChamberFest- July 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Mechanics Park-Shannon
  • DUCK SALES!!!! – Jeff Slaton
Something for everyone this year- that’s my motto! Until next time……………….

Peace and Blessings,

Shannon Kashinsky – President- 2020-2023
